Rishab Prasanna & Samvad
Three wind instruments of different traditions meet in a musical dialogue of improvisations and blending of original compositions of Samvad and traditional indian compositions of the Prasanna tradition.
Rishab Prasanna was born in a renowned family of musicians of Varanasi who have traditionally played and nurtured the shehnai for over two and half centuries. Rishab has taken to music by inheritance.
Rishab Prasanna is the son and disciple of the renowned flute and shehnai Virtuoso Pt. Rajendra Prasanna and grandson of the Great Pt. Raghunath Prasanna.
Together they have created a innovative sound-journey where the three wind instruments merge one into another, as if there where one. Accompained by tabla they performed recentrly in Italy.
